1. Delivery Areas
1.1 Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We deliver to all provinces and major cities across South Africa, including:

1.2 International Shipping
We ship to select international destinations on request. Contact us for international shipping quotes and transit times. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Once dispatched from our Kempton Park facility:
- Gauteng: 1-2 business days
- Major Cities: 2-3 business days
- Regional Areas: 3-5 business days
- Remote Areas: 5-7 business days
Note: Lead times are estimates and exclude weekends, South African public holidays, and unforeseen delays. During peak seasons (November-December), allow additional time.
3. Shipping Methods & Costs
3.1 Standard Courier Delivery
Our most popular option, using reputable South African couriers:
3.2 Express Delivery
Faster delivery for urgent orders:
- Same-Day Delivery: Available in Gauteng for orders placed before 10:00 AM (R350 flat rate)
- Overnight Delivery: Major cities nationwide (R250 flat rate)
- Express Production: Reduce production time by 50% (+20% of order value)
3.3 Collection Options
Save on shipping by collecting your order:
- Factory Collection: Free - Collect from our Kempton Park facility (by appointment)
- Collection Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00, Saturday 09:00-12:00
- Notification: We'll notify you when your order is ready for collection
3.4 Bulk Order Delivery
For orders exceeding 100 units or R25,000, we offer custom delivery solutions. Contact our team for palletized freight quotes and delivery scheduling.
4. Order Tracking

- Delivery confirmation upon successful delivery
Pro Tip: Add our email address to your contacts to ensure tracking notifications don't end up in spam.
5. Delivery Process
5.1 Signature Required
For your security, all deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If you won't be available, you can authorize delivery to a neighbor or arrange collection from the courier depot.
5.2 Failed Delivery Attempts
- Courier will attempt delivery up to 3 times
- Notification card left if recipient not available
- After 3 attempts, package available for depot collection (5 business days)
- Uncollected packages returned to RetroCraft (return shipping fees apply)
5.3 Incorrect Address
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate. If corrections are needed after dispatch, additional fees may apply. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect address information.
6. Risk & Insurance
Risk Transfer: Risk and title pass to the customer upon delivery to the courier. All shipments include standard courier insurance up to R5,000.
Additional Insurance: For orders exceeding R5,000, additional insurance available at 2% of order value.
Damaged in Transit: Report damaged packages within 48 hours with photos. We will assist with courier claims and arrange replacement.
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Public Holidays
No production or dispatch on South African public holidays. Orders placed during holiday periods will be processed on the next business day.
7.2 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, severe weather conditions
- Labor strikes, industrial action
- Pandemics, government restrictions
- Power outages (load shedding)
- Courier service disruptions
In such cases, we will communicate proactively and work to minimize delays.
7.3 Peak Season
During November and December, expect increased lead times due to high demand. We recommend placing orders early to ensure timely delivery.
8. International Shipping
We ship internationally to select countries. Important information:
- Customs & Duties: Recipient responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees
- Customs Declarations: Accurate product descriptions and values declared
- Transit Times: 7-21 business days depending on destination
- Tracking: International tracking provided
- Restrictions: Some products may be restricted in certain countries
